Hey, Batter-Batter-Batter-Swing-Batter!

With Baseball Season upon us, we thought what better way to celebrate than to put the spot light on the New Era Cap Company! Just thinking about it brings back the memory of freshly cut grass! The summer sun! The hot dogs! The brilliant Hats! …and of course the game!

Twas 19 dickity 2 when New Era was founded! And by 19-dickity-2, we of course mean, 1920.  The New Era Cap Company was founded in 1920 by Ehrhardt Koch.  New Era first supplied their caps to a MLB team in 1934, the first team to wear New Era caps was the Cleveland Indians!

Back in 1934 New Era had to compete with other hat manufacturers to get their hats worn… How times have changed! Today New Era don’t only make MLB caps for the Cleveland Indians, they are the exclusive manufacturer of all Major League Baseball caps! The style of the on-field baseball cap worn by the players is the New Era 59fifty fitted cap(this model is also made for the NBA, NFL, NHL & AFL, just to name a few!).

To celebrate the commencement of Baseball season we have selected a few iconic 59fifty caps(and a few staff favourites) to share with you all!  What better team to start with than The Cleveland Indians! The first team to have the pleasure of wearing New Era Baseball caps!
